The Bézier Game: How You Can Master The Pen Tool

Ever wonder how come they don’t make games for graphic designers? Wonder no more because I’m going to introduce you to The Bézier Game. It’s a game to help you master one of the most powerful tools of Adobe Photoshop, the Pen Tool.

The Bézier Game is a pretty simple concept. You will be shown a shape and be asked to recreate it with the Pen Tool. With each puzzle you will get a certain amount of nodes (times you can click to make a point) and when you complete a level the game will tell you if you could do better. Spoiler: you can almost always do better! Here are a few shots of my experience playing the game;

The Pen Tool works exactly as it does in Photoshop [with all of the important keyboard alterations]! This is important because you can actually apply every single lesson to your skill-set and replicate on your own in Photoshop. If you want to play just head on over to the official website!

I find The Bézier Game addictingly fun because it really pushes you to the best of your abilities. For beginners you will find the tutorial stages extremely helpful. For those that think they have it mastered, try playing on a MacBook Pro trackpad and I promise it’ll be extremely hard!

What do you think of The Bézier Game? I want you to tell me the highest level you’ve gotten up to in the comments below.
