Prisma Will Help You Keep Your Color Sanity in Adobe Photoshop

If you’ve ever managed a whole brand (websites, social media, print materials, etc.) you know how inconvenient it could be to play with the brand’s colors in different spots. Prisma is a free Photoshop extension made to make that easy.

Inside of Photoshop, swatches can only help you so much – whatever colors you add to your swatches will be there, but you can only assign that to your color picker. Prisma lets you add your own color schemes in similar fashion, but then lets you select multiple shape and text layers and link the color clicked. This allows for rapid color changes and scheming opportunities without having to individually change each layer. You can check out an example of how it works in the video above.

Prisma is an extension that works with Adobe Photoshop CS5 and up. If you’re interested head over to Code Adventure to download Prisma.

Note: Although I haven’t experienced issues, Prisma is currently in free beta and may contain bugs for some users.
