Jorok is a hip hop artist residing in Orlando, Florida that dropped a banging new EP entitled Freeverses Vol. 1. Just as the name references, Jorok comes hard with verses on some of the hip hop’s dopest beats. We’ve got the full EP and our thoughts on it below!
Freeverses Vol. 1 is made up of 7 tracks with instrumentals from songs by artists like Nas, Rick Ross, and Apollo Brown. Jorok’s presence on each track is impeccable – he makes each instrumental sound like it was crafted for him specifically. He even went after one of the hardest instrumentals in the last year, The Devil is A Lie, and killed it. So it’s no secret that Devil’s Lie…(Hidden Agenda) is my favorite track off the EP, but there’s more as he flips it on the same track also murdering both Drake’s Pound Cake and Pusha T’s Nosetalgia too.
