Mario Invades Tokyo in The Unofficial Super Smash Bros. Commercial

Dean Wright is a 3D artist and film maker from the UK with a geeky obsession for the Super Smash Bros. franchise (do you blame him?). He took his obsession and made a stunning commercial-like video that shows Mario running throughout Tokyo towards the stadium. It’s damn impressive.

I can’t even lie. I geeked out watching Dean’s video because of how much I loved it. It’s absolutely unbelievable how real and professional it looks. If I seen it while watching TV I’d think that Nintendo themselves made an incredible commercial. My hats off to Dean, this made me even more excited for the new Super Smash Bros.

Here is what Dean Wright said about the making of this video on his blog;

I’m a huge Super Smash Bros fan and with games for the Nintendo Wii U and 3DS coming out later this year, I wanted to make a fun commercial style project as an homage to the game and characters.Dean Wright

Why the hell has Nintendo not hired Dean yet? GET ON IT NINTENDO! I’m definitely following Dean in anticipation of his next video, which he said will be a “making of” video detailing this commercial.

What do you think of Dean’s unofficial Super Smash Bros. commercial? What else do you think Dean should tackle? Let me know in the comments below.
